Stephanie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate/Art Therapist. She received her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling, with a concentration in Art Therapy, from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania. Stephanie has been trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy from the University of Colorado, and a graduate of the School of the Bible from New Creation Church.

Art therapy is a mental health profession that uses the creative process of making art to improve and enhance the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of individuals of all ages. β€œIt is based on the belief that the creative process involved in artistic self-expression helps people to resolve conflicts and problems, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem, self-awareness, and achieve insight.” (American Art Therapy Association).

Stephanie encourages healing through the integration of heart, body, mind, soul and spirit. She believes in the multi-dimensional power of God to promote life-giving change, restoration and growth. Expression of feelings, ideas, experiences, and hope are encouraged through the process of creating art.

Stephanie has been a member of the American Art Therapy Association and the Colorado Art Therapy Association since 2018.

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.
