Men’s & Women’s Online DBT Group

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. - 2 Corinthians 10:5

Forged in fire is a saying or expression, metaphorically used to describe something or someone that has been through difficult or challenging experiences, which has resulted in greater strength and resilience. God asks us to rejoice when we go through trials because it can build Godly character in us and a refining of our flesh. Marriage can certainly feel like a process of being forged in the fire leading to refinement. This retreat is designed to give hope, strength, resiliency, and tools for this refinement process.

Where: Online (you must register first)

Who: Men and Women (18+)

When: Beginning Monday, June 3rd, 6:00 - 7:30pm

What: Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) is a staple of modern addiction treatment and an incredibly effective component of behavioral rehabilitation. It is one of the most commonly utilized therapeutic modalities. The primary goal of the technique is to help participants identify the triggers that lead to toxic and dysfunctional thought patterns, which may lead to a variety of unhealthy behaviors. In an addiction treatment context, DBT is most often administered alongside individualized counseling.

This 6-month group includes Biblical foundations for prayer and mindfulness, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, emotional regulation, and much more! While there are Christian foundations and elements weaved throughout these groups, participants need not subscribe to a specific faith, and ALL will be honored and welcomed.

Cost: $50.00/group to be paid in full at the beginning of each month. We also accept Medicaid and Rocky Mountain Health Plans.

If you have questions, feel free to contact Natalie Mendez at 970-445-4731
