Heather Harcourt, MSW, PhD has been a clinical social worker for 25 years and holds both a master’s and a PhD in social work. She is a licensed social worker in the State of Colorado and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers through the National Association of Social Work. She has worked in a variety of mental health settings, providing individual, family and group therapy to adults, children and teens. With a specialization in child and adolescent mental health, Heather’s clinical work and research has focused on understanding the moral and emotional development of children and the assessment and treatment of mental illness and family conflict. With great care and discernment, Heather incorporates her client’s Christian beliefs into multi-modal therapy, seeking the in-dwelling Holy Spirit with great hope and expectation to facilitate spiritual and emotional healing. In addition to many other roles, we are honored to have her currently serving as a clinical supervisor and consultant with the Trailhead Christian Counseling leadership team. Raised in a Baptist/Quaker/United Church of Christ family, Heather finally found a home in a non-denominational tradition and attends Jubilee Fellowship Church in Lone Tree, CO.
