Ramona Smith

Ramona Smith, MA, PC, LPCC, holds an undergraduate degree in Christian Education, and a Master of Divinity in both Professional Ministry and Pastoral Counseling. She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the State of Colorado. Ramona resides in Hooper, Colorado and is a member of the Hooper Baptist Church. Ramona services a large part of the San Luis Valley, and has 15 years of experience serving in various areas of church ministry. She has five years experience in counseling grief and loss, PTSD, Trauma, Sexual abuse, Spiritual Deliverance, Substance Abuse, Parenting, Marriage, Family and Individual. Ramona also helps people recover from substance, sexual and physical abuse through her work at Potter’s House Sober and Transitional Living.
 

Ramona uses a variety Counseling techniques, most of which are Biblically based. Some of the tools provided are: conflict resolution, communication, restoring relationship, healing from trauma, and setting boundaries. The goals of these techniques are to help the client gain a deeper understanding of themselves, deepen their spiritual relationship with God, improve their relational skills with others, while guiding them into walking in spiritual freedom.
