Why Trailhead Christian Counseling?

One of the most difficult components of creating and/or enhancing a private practice is the cumbersome and challenging task of marketing and designing a Christ-centered business model, which will meet or exceed the professionalism offered by competitors in your community. Trailhead Christian Counseling can provide for all your needs right out of the gate. Moreover, you are not becoming an employee, so you retain the freedom and autonomy you desire within your ministry while having the support and practical tools you need.

What is the difference between Trailhead Christian Counseling Network and membership with other organizations like the National Christian Counselors Association, Association of Certified Biblical Counselors, American Association of Christian Counselors, etc.?

Trailhead Christian Counseling is dedicated to hands-on partnering and equipped to create a Christ-centered, successful business model for your Christian Counseling practice. While we do offer Allies a variety of other support options to assist you in your clinical practice, our primary purpose is to engage, equip and encourage you in becoming practically and financially successful, so that you may reach more clients in creative and unique ways that honor God and your calling! As you THRIVE in your calling, the Kingdom of God grows!

The E-book, The Trailhead of Christian Counseling, is FREE, as are the newsletters, blog entries and there are vast resources available in other places online. Why join the network when I have all I need to just do this on my own?

God’s Word tells us to “bear one another burdens,” (Galatians 6:2), “build one another up,” (1 Thessalonians 5:11), “stir up one another to love and good works,” (Hebrews 10:24) and that “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17). The theme here is partnership, community, fellowship and equipping one another for the work He has called us to. We don’t want to just explain how this is done – we want to foster professional, healthy, Godly, long-standing relationship with you!

Why isn’t The Trailhead of Christian Counseling FREE?

We are not a non-profit organization. The time and investment it takes to create and refine the business model, materials, and regular ongoing personal equipping are extensive, to say the least. Much like you as a counselor, compensation is necessary to keep the practice running well and professionally. You will get what you pay for… actually, MORE!

Is The Trailhead of Christian Counseling model based on Biblical principles?

Absolutely! Ephesians 4:12 calls us “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ…” That is us, and we are charged to build up the body of Christ by way of our giftings and ministry. 1 Corinthians 14:26 explains, “What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.” Romans 12:4-5 states, “For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” Ephesians 2:19-22 proclaims, “So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God’s household, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, is growing into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit.” Finally, 1 Corinthians 12:25 tells us, “So that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.”
